All-Peach Sorbet

All-Peach Sorbet

Just as easy as the all-banana ice cream!  When you get a bumper crop of peaches (or nectarines), or get a good deal on them at the market, toss the whole fruit in the freezer—don’t wash or peel.  The skin will slip off under running hot tap water when you are ready to make this yummy treat.

1 peach per person
2 TBL orange juice

1.     Run 1 frozen peach under hot running tap water and remove the skin.
2.     With a sharp paring knife, cut flesh off of pit into a blender or food processor container.
3.     Add a couple of tablespoons fresh orange juice and blend until sorbet-ish.
