Hot Chocolate Mix—just add milk

likes to make.
Makes 5 ¾ C
dry mix or 92 eight-ounce servings
3 ½ C sugar
2 ¼ C cocoa
1 TBL salt
½ - 1 tsp cayenne
pepper (adds warmth not spiciness)
Optional, cinnamon,
for Mexican hot chocolate
Milk, for serving
- In large bowl, combine
sugar, cocoa and salt. Whisk to
combine well. Store the mixture in
an airtight container.
- To serve ONE, heat 1 C
milk just until hot (stovetop or microwave). Add 2 TBL cocoa mix and stir to
dissolve.
- For large batch: Add 1 C milk per person to saucepan,
heat on stove top just until hot and add 2 TBL per cup of milk.
